Oyekanmi Gabriel Okediji is a seasoned professional Librarian with over 15 years of experience in librarianship. He holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education and a bachelor’s degree in Education (Agricultural Science), along with a Master’s in Library and Information Studies. Throughout his career, Gabriel has excelled in managing information resources, promoting literacy, and fostering research within diverse communities.
His expertise spans cataloging, reference services, collection development, and library management, with a strong focus on integrating digital technologies to enhance user experiences. Gabriel is also known for his exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with library patrons and colleagues.
Gabriel has demonstrated a commitment to professional growth, regularly engaging in conferences and workshops to stay updated with trends in the field. He worked at Bowen University Library as a Library Assistant for nearly 10 years and then at Kings University Library as Librarian II for over 6 years.
In 2022, he transferred to the Federal College of Education Iwo as an Assistant to the College Librarian.
