Overview
Tejumade Omowumi Siyanbola is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Industrial Relations in the Department of Management and Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria. Tejumade teaches and researches the two indicated areas as they relate to SMEs and larger organisations. She holds PhD. in Industrial Relations, and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education [PGCHE] of Kent Business School, University of Kent, Canterbury, UK. She is also a holder of B.Sc.Ed (Economics), MBA, and M.Phil. (Business Administration) of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Nigeria.
She is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (UK HEA), Assoc.CIPD, UK, and member, Africa Academy of Management (AFAM). She has publications in reputable academic journals amongst which are: “Extent of employee-turnover in Nigerian SMEs: Employees’-owner/ managers’ standpoint” (Co-published with Prof. Mark W. Gilman) in Employee Relations (Emerald Insight); and “Critical Challenges Limiting Small Business Performance in Nigeria: An Exploratory Investigation” (Co-published with Prof. Bell. I. Ihua) in International Journal of Business and Globalisation (Inderscience).
